1930: Alberto Suppici (Uruguay, 1898-1981) was the first manager to lead a team, the host nation, to victory in the first ever FIFA World Cup.
1930: Juan José Tramutola (Argentina, 1902-1968) and  Francisco Olazar (Argentina, 1885-1958) were both the managers of Argentina in 1930.
1930: Costel Rădulescu (Romania, 1896-1981) and Octav Luchide (Romania) were both the managers of Romania in 1930.
1934: Hector Goetinck (Belgium, 1886-1943) and Costel Rădulescu (Romania, 1896-1981) were the first managers to lead a team in two differents World Cups.
1934: Costel Rădulescu (Romania, 1896-1981) and  Josef Uridil (Austria, 1895-1962) were both the managers of Romania in 1934.
1938: Károly Dietz and Alfréd Schaffer were both the managers of Hungary in the 1938 FIFA World Cup.
1938: Vittorio Pozzo was the first manager to win 2 world cups in a row.
1958: Sepp Herberger (Germany, 1897-1977) and Walter Winterbottom (England, 1913-2002) were the first managers to lead a team in three differents World Cups.
1958: George Raynor (1907-1985) was one of the most succesful manager in all over the world. He led the Sweden national football team to the final in Sweden (1958), he got the third place in Brazil (1950), and he also managed them to an Olympic gold medal.
